Buying shoes online. Can it be done? How do I get the right fit?
Here at Madison Lane we have worked hard to make buying shoes online an easy experience.
We have found that there are many inconsistencies in shoe sizing.
Different brands have different lengths for the same given size, and
even different styles of the same brand can have odd sizing. Add this
to the confusion of USA, European, and UK sizes and it can all become
very difficult.
To make life easy, we have measured each style, and included this
information in our listings. Simply measure the length of your child's
foot (with the heel against a doorway or wall is easiest) and check the
sizing tables at the bottom of each shoe style. All our measurements
indicate internal heel to toe length.
Remember to allow at least 0.5cm room but not normally more than 1cm.
This will ensure that you get the most wear out of the shoes, as
childrens feet can grow out of shoes in weeks if the incorrect size is
chosen.
Happy shopping!
